Summer Festival, Frontier Days and

Horses of the West

August 7 & 8 from 10 am - 4 pm.  Mountain men will demonstrate their skills and spin tales of the past at encampments throughout the ranch. Peruvian Paso horse shows and a “Carousel of Horses,” including Lipizzaner, Arab, Pure Spanish and more. John Carson, Kit
Carson’s great-great grandson, will do a Chautauqua presentation as Kit both days.
Flint-knapping, hide tanning, and other hands-on fun for the whole family.

Fiesta de los Niños: A Children's Celebration!
September 4-5 from 10 am - 4 pm. Ven a Jugar Con Nosotros! Come out and play with us! Your children will have fun learning about history as they try on historic costumes of the Spanish settlers and build their very own miniature adobe house. Storytellers and costumed villagers – not to mention burros, goats and sheep - will bring this Spanish colonial ranch to life and inspire young minds; magicians and miniature horses will delight and entertain themGames, crafts and entertainment for the whole family! All Children Under 13 are admitted FREE of charge!

Santa Fe Renaissance Fair
September 18-19 from 10 am - 6 pm. Revel in the amazing antics of Santa Fe’s own Clan Tynker! * Cheer on the brave pursuits of jousting, sword fighting and Celtic games! * Kids!
