Our Team

Kathy Pallis, Founder

Kathy has been active in Greyhound rescue for years, fostering many ex-racers fresh off the track. She currently owns two Greyhounds who she worked with to become registered Pet Therapy dogs. Kathy has a biomedical and veterinary research background as well as extensive experience in project management and technical communications.

Relaena Sindelar

For over a decade, Relaena has been a board member of several animal welfare non-profit organizations, and has worked with several other such groups during their initial start-up phases.  She founded and has run a marketing consulting business since 1995, in which she provides overall strategy, organizational operations, documentation, communications, and public outreach.

Brian Martinson

Brian has always loved dogs, and became enchanted with his first Greyhound. He has provided daily care for his own Greyhounds, the Sanctuary Greyhounds, and those of friends and neighbors for over 4 years.
